Sbo plays an active role in balancing out housing markets in municipalities with declining populations.
In 2009, Statens Bostadsomvandling AB received an expansive commission that allows the company to work in municipalities with populations on the decline. This bypasses the provisions and agreements set forth by the National Housing Credit Guarantee Board (BKN) which, as a result, affords 107 municipalities the opportunity of using Sbo's services.
Sbo acquires, develops and liquidates real estate. In the event that an estate cannot be sold, demolition services are provided by us.
Sbo is a limited company whose main purpose is to renovate and make available unused municipal properties.
Sbo's is assigned by the government as an instrument designed to aid municipalities in their effort to achieve balance in the housing market.
