Filipstad
Filipstad has almost 11 000 inhabitants and is located in the county of Värmland. They are approximately one hour's journey to the majority of Swedish cities. There are express buses that go daily to Karlstad, Falun, Gävle and Gothenburg. Within three hours, reached the Stockholm, Gothenburg and Oslo. Airports and ports are in Filipstads vicinity.
SBO acquired in autumn 2007 18 houses threatened demolition of the two stair wells for a total of 1266 m2 in Filipstad. Rehabilitation / modernization has now been made to group homes LSS and accommodation for unaccompanied refugee children at a cost of SEK 5.1 million financed by the SBO. The building is heated by district heating and has 3-glass windows. Elevator has been installed to increase accessibility for the disabled. A separate agreement is signed between the Municipality and SBO.
2009 acquired 18 apartments for conversion to housing security.
