Economic objectives
200 million SEK are available to us for achieving balance in the housing markets. In order to accomplish our goals we need to make investments with expected returns. 340 million is also set aside for the phasing out of vacant residences. At the end of the day, our bottom line rests upon the 200 million set aside for investments. This governs our economic objectives and the projects we pursue.
The benefit for society
We can measure the benefits based in part on how many apartments slated for demolition we are able to salvage. Thus far, we have acquired approximately 616 apartments of which the majority were vacant and scheduled for demolition. Thanks to the work we do, demolition was avoided. A barrack with 12 apartments in Porjus was an exception.
Annually we send out a questionnaire to the municipalities regarding how pleased they are with our work. Our goal is that 80% of our clients will be satisfied with our work. This years polling shows that almost 85% are content with the work SBO has done.
The benefit for tenants
Our objective is that 80% of the tenants will be satisfied with us as landlord. This year's poll shows 75% of tenants are pleased with us. (62%).
Effective administration
Our objective is 80% effective administration. Registered complaints will be dealt with within 8 hours. In the event that a complaint can't be rectified within 8 hours, the tenant will be informed of the reason. This years survey statistics show that 58% see us as competent in dealing with errors. (74%)
Environmental policies
Our goal is to cut energy costs in half. Each project is governed by a budget and implementation time against which we are measured annually. In Åsarna, for example, we have manged to lower energy consumption by 60%. This was accomplished by replacing direct electrical heating with heat pumps.
